DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;\n\nEverytown for Gun Safety is the largest organization
  in the country working to prevent gun violence.&nbsp\; The original goal 
 was simple:&nbsp\; build a counterweight to the gun lobby\, powered by a g
 rassroots army that was just as loud and passionate as the NRA.&nbsp\;\n\n
 Ten years later\, Everytown and their network of Moms and Students Demand 
 Action volunteers has ten million supporters.&nbsp\; This growth has allow
 ed them to change the political calculus on gun safety and pass common-sen
 se laws at all levels of government.&nbsp\; But there is still a lot of wo
 rk to be done:&nbsp\; they are focused on building a grassroots movement o
 f volunteers\, electing gun sense champions to offices up and down the bal
 lot\, additional opportunities for progress in D.C. and statehouses across
  the country\, and holding the gun industry and gun lobby accountable thro
 ugh litigation and investigations.\n\nNick Suplina brings 20 years of lega
 l and policy experience in the public and private sectors.&nbsp\; In this 
 role\, he oversees the organizational strategy for federal\, state\, and l
 ocal policy\, community safety initiatives\, research and investigations.&
 nbsp\; He regularly advises and has served on the transition teams of Gove
 rnors\, Attorneys Generals\, Mayors and District Attorneys.&nbsp\;\n\nBefo
 re joining Everytown\, Nick served as Senior Advisor and Special Counsel t
 o the New York State Attorney General\, where he formulated legal strategi
 es in the areas of criminal justice\, public safety\, technology\, and gov
 ernment integrity. Nick has appeared on national tv news outlets and has b
 een quoted in the New York Times\, Wall Street Journal\, USA Today and oth
 ers.&nbsp\; He graduated from the George Washington University Law School
