DESCRIPTION:The Community Social Action Committee of the Coalition (GWCJL)\
 , in collaboration with six other congregations of the Washington Council 
 of Congregations (WCOC)\, has identified a social action project for consi
 deration. WCOC has invited representatives of Integrated Refugee &amp\; Im
 migrant Services (IRIS\, irisct.org)\, a refugee resettlement group based 
 in New Haven\, to talk with us.&nbsp\;\n\nInterfaith groups across the cou
 ntry have joined together for these kinds of relief efforts\, locally a gr
 oup from St. John's Episcopal Church in New Milord recently resettled two 
 families and they have offered to provide guidance and support.&nbsp\;\n\n
