DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nDr. Steven Windmueller\, a political scientist\, will
  be analyzing the history of American Jewish political behavior\, while ex
 ploring with us the specific factors important to an understanding of this
  election campaign and the role Jews will be playing. This presentation wi
 ll examine the impact of Israel and anti-semitism on the Jewish vote\, as 
 well as unpack the various “types” of Jewish voters.\n\nDr. Windmuelle
 r will provide some commentary on the available polling data in connection
  with the 11/5 election\, while exploring the distinctive elements of wher
 e Jews live in this country as being significant to this historic moment i
 n American politics. As we head into the 2024 election\, how will Jewish v
 oters cast their ballots? Will they repeat their rejection of Trump\, who 
 received only 24 percent of their votes in 2016 and an estimated 30 percen
 t in 2020? Will the Gaza war and the dramatic rise in anti-semitism change
  the calculus? And why are the answers so critically important for America
 n Jews?\n\nDr. Windmueller\, Professor of Jewish Communal Studies at the H
 ebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles\, taught c
 ontemporary political issues and American Jewish affairs and is a fellow a
 t the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs. He is the author of several art
 icles\, publications and four books\, which include “The Quest for Power
 \, A Study in Jewish Political Behavior and Practice” and served as edit
