Greater Washington Coalition for Jewish Life
Celebrating Jewish Life in Connecticut
This month, amongst other talents, our film-savvy Rabbi James will be screening “The Women’s Balcony.” This film, which won
several awards and was incredibly popular in Israel, explores the role of women in an orthodox Jewish community in
Israel and invites us to consider the role of community decision-making within Jewish tradition. After
our screening, we will discuss some of the issues raised and explore how communities make
decisions now.
