This Coalition Shabbat service will include observances of Yom
Hazikaron (Israeli Remembrance Day) and Yom Haatzmaut (Israeli Independence
Day).
Rabbi James will mix into our service poetry from early and contemporary Israeli poets and
reflect on the power of Israel’s existence 78 years after its founding.
Carolyn Setlow and Andrew Shapiro will be our hosts for the evening.
