The month of Elul is a time of reflection, inner work and noticing the abundance that we enjoy throughout the year. As we gather for our Shabbat service, we will take some time to reflect on the lead up to the high holy days, to think about the abundance that we enjoyed over the past year, and to set some tasks for our inner work leading up to Rosh Hashanah. I invite you to bring a story from the summer that highlights either your abundance from the past year, or your work ahead for the high holy days. We will also look at some texts that focus on spiritual preparation for the Days of Awe.
