Noted scholar, Professor Gavriel Rosenfeld, currently on the faculty
at Fairfield University and president of The Center for JewishHistory, will consider how contemporary political movements.                                     
centered on personality cults and a restoration of past greatness
could succeed in dismantling the administrative state or procedural
democracy in the U.S.

Professor Rosenfeld is the author of several books, most recently
“Fascism in America” with Janet Ward. His other works include “The Fourth Reich: The
Specter of Nazism” and Building After Auschwitz: Jewish Architecture and the Memory
of the Holocaust.” In addition, he has been a prolific writer for well-known newspapers
and journals, including The Washington Post, Atlantic and The Forward, producing
essays on the history of Nazi Germany, the Holocaust and Counterfactual History.
