We welcome back, with great enthusiasm, Professor Watson. For those of you who have not yet heard him speak, you are in for a real treat!
Professor Watson is an award-winning author who has published more than 45 books and 200 scholarly articles and essays on topics in political, social and military history as well as two multi-edition, multi-volume encyclopedia sets on the presidents and First Ladies. Professor Watson’s books are numerous and have won awards including both the Independent Publisher’s Gold Medal and Silver Medal in History, John Barry Book Award and John Lyman Book Awards. His recent books include America’s First Crisis, The Nazi Titanic, The Ghost Ship of Brooklyn, George Washington’s Final Battle and Escape — all of which have received critical acclaim.
He is a professor, author, historian, media commentator and community activitst. He joined the faculty of Lynn University in 2007 after spending 15 years teaching at universities around the world.
Professor Watson is the Distinguished Professor of American History and Avron Fogelman Research Professor Director, Project Civets College of Arts and Sciences at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
