As we gather for our May Shabbat service, we will also take some time to commemorate Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day. This annual commemoration remembers those who were murdered during the Shoah, and brings to mind the legacy of survivors. This year, we will include readings from Eli Wiesel’s speeches at the Days of Remembrance gatherings.
Rabbi James will bring memorial candles for those who have lost loved ones during the Shoah.
