Bill Hewitt is a writer and editor, as well as the principal of Hewitt Communications. He was the Director of Public Affairs for the NYC regional office of the New York State Department of Environmental Policy, as well as an activist leader with the Sierra Club in NYC working on urban issues and acid rain. He is currently teaching graduate classes on climate change and clean tech at New York University’s Center for Global Affairs. Bill is the author of numerous articles, book reviews and op-ed commentary on sustainability, energy and environmental issues as well as the book “A Newer World – Politics, Money, Technology and What’s Really Being Done to Solve the Climate Crisis.”
