We are delighted to feature Leah Mirakhor, currently a lecturer at Yale’s program in Ethnicity, Race and Migration, who will be presenting her family story of their migration from Iran to the US. Leah’s courses include the study of migrant and refugee literature, creative non-fiction and analysis of American and global Anglophone literature, culture and art. She has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Artforum, Bookforum, The Times Literary Supplement, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Yale Review, The James Baldwin Review and Studies in American Jewish Literature.
