Carolyn Setlow, co-chair of the Community Social Action Committee, wants to share with you some exciting news
about Alibaba Awrang, the father of the Afghan refugee family, whom so many Coalition members helped resettle with
donations and other support.  Our talented Afghan contemporary calligrapher now has his first museum exhibition since
his arrival in Litchfield County in March, 2021.  Please join with others to celebrate this wonderful achievement. You will be able to see Alibaba’s beautiful and expressive paintings, along with the works of his fellow Afghan traditional potter,
Matin Malikzada, until January 7, 2024.
